The collective mind often assumes that NL based discussions centred around gender, diversity, colonial history and inclusivity within cultural spaces can be found in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. When one thinks of Utrecht, these topics may not be the first that come to mind. Yet Utrecht has a long history of subversive cultural expressions that have long been going against the grain.
