The fourth and final edition of Savannah’s Feminist Book Club

From March to June, Savannah’s Feminist Book Club will read and discuss four important ‘classic’ feminist novels. Each month we discuss a different novel that examines different feminist issues. The bookclub is not a four-month-long commitment, feel free to join any month you like! There will be snacks and drinks available! The event is free if you buy the book at our shop; otherwise, we ask a contribution of €6.

The final gathering will be held on the Thursday 13th of June, at 8 PM. The book we will read is Zami: A New Spelling of My Name by Audre LordeIn this novel ‘warrior poet’ Lorde combines history, biography and myth-telling. A coming-of-age story of a Black lesbian woman in New York. For the last gathering of Savannah’s Feminist Book Club we will have a special reading by Savannah’s very own: Marischka Verbeek.

Price of the book is €14,95
