PRING-festival is hosting the performance of Haribo Kimchi on Saturday 21 and Sunday the 22nd of September in the ‘Paardenkathedraal’ in Utrecht. To provide some context to the performance SPRING and Savannah Bay are working together to host a reading group about food in South-Korean literature.

Come to Savannah Bay on Friday night, September 20th, for a cozy night. Together we read from books with food and culinary activities play leading characters.  

We read different chapters from The Vegetarian from Han Kang en I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki from Baek Sehee. No worries if you haven’t read the book yet. We will read and discuss passages together. Would you like to read the books in advance anyways? You can order them by pressing the green buttons on this page.
